This Privacy Policy explains what information slides.supply (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you visit our website, create an account, or use our features, and how we use and protect that information. By using slides.supply, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service:
- Account information. When you sign in, we receive your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile photo from Google. We use a one-time code or Google sign-in rather than storing passwords.
- Content you create. The collections you save slides into are stored and associated with your account.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send you our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Usage and device data. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device, approximate location, referring pages, and the pages you view, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve slides.supply and its features.
- Authenticate you and keep your account and saved content secure.
- Send you the newsletter and respond to your messages.
- Understand how the site is used so we can make it better, and detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as light or dark mode). We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage of the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working if you do.
Service providers we rely on
We use a small set of trusted providers to operate the service, and they process data only on our behalf. These include our hosting and infrastructure provider, our authentication and database provider (which handles sign-in and stores accounts and collections), Google (for optional Google sign-in), our content management system (for the slides and pages you see), and our email provider (for sign-in codes and the newsletter).
Data retention
We keep your account information and the content you create for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with the law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the EU or UK, these rights are provided under the GDPR; if you are a California resident, they are provided under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hi@slides.supply.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
slides.supply is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate.
